Intellectual property
The texts, route descriptions, photos and visual identity of the site are the property of the publisher, unless otherwise stated. Any reproduction without prior written permission is prohibited.
Map backgrounds come from the French IGN (Géoplateforme) and from OpenStreetMap (contributors, ODbL licence). GPS tracks are provided for guidance only: they replace neither an official map nor the hiker's own judgement on the ground.
Liability & mountain safety
The published information (distances, elevation, duration, descriptions) is indicative and may change (weather, trail conditions, seasonal closures). Hiking is practised under the sole responsibility of the hiker, who must check conditions, equip accordingly and adapt the route. The publisher cannot be held liable for any accident or damage occurring while using the information on the site.
Personal data (GDPR)
The site requires no account and collects no personal data through any form. A hashed fingerprint (salted SHA-256) of the IP address is stored for anonymous audience measurement: the raw IP address is never kept. No data is shared with third parties or used for commercial purposes. Under the GDPR, for any request write to vaucher.jeremy@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French CNIL.
Cookies
The site uses no advertising or profiling cookies. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be set. Prior consent is not required for these cookies, in line with the CNIL recommendation.
Governing law
This legal notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
